Technology Awards 2016 – Best Mobile/Tablet App Developer

With mobile apps now the dominant channel for digital interaction, app development has become battlefield where tens of thousands of providers compete for a thin slice of the private banking pie.

According to Asian Private Banker’s Tech Survey 2016, 82% of private banks polled offer mobile apps for clients throughout Asia, suggesting that demand is high for best-in-breed developers. However, on closer inspection, there is a lack of consensus over those features that are considered crucial for a ‘model’ private banking app.

additiv delivers a suite of solutions that are not only comprehensive in breadth but are adaptable to diverging front-office strategies. Two of the firm’s apps met with particular success in 2016. One is additiv DFS (Digital Finance Suite), a portal with an integrated finance suite and a broad set of functionalities for front and middle office staff to advise and service clients in a digital manner. The other, Digital Private Banking, provides private banking clients with a mobile solution that delivers investment advice through its “online cockpit” of information and big data intelligence for portfolio construction.

Furthermore, the app delivers an advisory and portfolio simulation where investors are presented with return and risk expectations based on their advisors’ asset allocation recommendations.

Testament to the strength of its solutions, additiv last year locked in private banking clients and grew its presence in the region with offices in Singapore and Malaysia.

“additiv are very happy to be awarded Best Mobile/Tablet App Developer for the Asian Private Banker – Technology Awards 2016 as a testimony of our efforts in Asia and of our successful design-centric strategy to focus, together with our clients, on modern and differentiating Front-Office tools”, says Loïc Pitrou, general manager, APAC, additiv.
