BNP Paribas Securities Services (BNP Paribas) has launched settlement and custody services for Chinese, renminbi-denominated bonds in Hong Kong, with the first trade settled on 22 September 2010. This opens up Chinese currency investments to BNP Paribas clients, both in Hong Kong and internationally. Renminbi settlement volumes have risen to a Rmb7.2bn monthly average since February 2010….
