Bottle of Château Lafite-Rothschild fetches HK$1.8m

Sotheby’s Hong Kong conducted an auction of wine from Château Lafite on October 29, raising HK$65.5m (US$8.4m), tripling the pre-sale high estimate of HK$20m.  Three bottles of Château Lafite-Rothschild 1869 became the world’s most expensive wine sold at auction, selling for HK$1,815,000 each.
