Julius Baer: No pressure to tighten

Despite its outlook, ‘secular stagnation,’ as the Swiss pure play calls it, remains the flavour du jour as central banks elsewhere remain ultra-accommodative even for the Feds where the pressure to exit the zero-interest rate environment is extremely limited. Nonetheless, Julius Baer forecasts a single rate hike of 25-50 bps in 2015 by the Feds, expected to occur in September….
