SFC increases synthetic ETF collateralization requirements; industry unperturbed

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has announced enhanced levels of collateralization and transparency for domestic synthetic Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) requiring a minimum of 100% collateralization of all domestic synthetic ETFs.
