HSBC put out a statement today stating that it was exiting its private equity fund management businesses in Hong Kong, UK, the US, Canada and the Middle East. The bank said in statement that it was in discussions that it expected would lead to five separate management buyouts. Completion will be subject to regulatory and other approvals….
