Deutsche Bank to cut 15,000 in tech overhaul

Deutsche Bank will axe 15,000 jobs globally as it bids to “modernise its outdated and fragmented IT architecture”, says its co-chief executive. As part of its five-year technology overhaul, the German lender has announced that it will shed 9,000 full-time staff and 6,000 external contractor jobs in its global technology operations.
