Asian Private Banker was proud to honour the winners of the 12th annual Asset Management Awards for Excellence at a gala luncheon in Hong Kong, where the region’s best third-party providers of asset management products to the private banking industry were acknowledged for their stellar achievements.
More than 100 representatives of the asset management industry and key private banking gatekeepers attended the glittering awards ceremony at the city’s J.W. Marriott hotel, where more than 30 fund providers received accolades in recognition of their success across equity, fixed income and alternative categories.
Among the big winners in the programme were private markets giant KKR, which took home big prizes including the prestigious House of the Year – Overall; Best Fund Provider – Private Equity; Best Fund Provider – Real Estate; and Best Fund Provider – Private Markets – Open-ended.

Other notable award recipients were Apollo Global Management, whose prizes included Distribution Partner of the Year for Edward Moon, partner and head of Asia-Pacific Global Wealth Management; and Best Fund Provider – Private Credit. BNP Paribas Asset Management won the highly-coveted House of the Year – ESG and Best New Fund ESG/Sustainability. Meanwhile, Nomura Asset Management’s Yoshihiro Miyazaki was APB‘s Portfolio Management of the Year, with the Japanese fund house also taking home the Best Fund Provider – Japan Equity prize.
