The above awards recognise global private banks whose domestic businesses in their specific onshore markets have outperformed their peers in terms of the needs of clients and have achieved strong business momentum for the year under consideration.

To be considered for one of the above awards, a bank’s regional headquarters must be located outside of their respective market, i.e. in Hong Kong, Singapore, or elsewhere.

Locally-headquartered banks may not apply for the international categories, yet may apply for the ‘Best Domestic Private Bank’ and/or ‘Best Private Bank’ set of categories for individual regional markets detailed after this set of awards.

The Judging Panel recognises that each market is subject to its own regulatory framework and idiosyncrasies. Therefore, each submission should include a brief contextual overview of the market in question.
