This award recognises a private bank in Asia Pacific whose sustainable investments and impact investing agenda are market-leading both in terms of the selection of specific investments and the return generated for clients. 

Submissions should articulate a bank’s thesis, priorities and strategy in terms of formulating and delivering sustainable investments and impact investing offerings. 

Submissions should cover relevant platform developments, investment opportunities and their success, research and content, and education initiatives.

While the Judging Panel realises that private banks interpret the term ‘sustainability’ differently, it deems that negative ESG screening alone does not constitute a sustainable investment nor impact investing offering. 

A separate submission sheet is not required for this category, instead applicants may provide relevant information to support their application in a format that articulates their approach to sustainable investments.
