What was behind the judges’ decision?
- With the advantage of being the largest local bank, HSBC Global Private Banking can tap into a broad pool of wealth clients, ranging from Premier to Premier Elite. Last year, the bank successfully upgraded a record number of clients to its Global Private Banking platform, resulting in strong growth in its client base and assets.
- Through the market boom last year, HSBC Global Private Banking has exponentially expanded its investment solutions platform, incorporating more alternative investment options and launching new discretionary portfolios. The bank experienced record net new investment assets, particularly from a significant influx of new clients exploring alternative investments.
- Additionally, HSBC made notable enhancements to its wealth and personal banking platform last year by approaching Hong Kong’s renowned award-winning movie star Tony Leung as its local ambassador for the wealth programme, fortifying the bank’s commitment to be the choice of every Hong Kong wealth client.
