Joseph Wong is a member of Barings’ Global Business Development Group and serves as Head of Wealth Distribution, Hong Kong & Singapore based in Hong Kong. Joseph is responsible for driving business development efforts in the wealth channel and further strengthening relationships with key investors in the two regions. He has worked in the industry since 2000. Prior to joining Barings, Joseph was Head of Intermediary Distribution, Hong Kong & Singapore at M&G Investments, responsible for spearheading the intermediary business development across retail and private wealth segments. Prior to that, Joseph was Vice President at Franklin Templeton for more than a decade, responsible for the wholesale business development in Greater China. His career also includes various senior roles in Superfund, AIA, Bank of China (Hong Kong) and Shanghai Commercial Bank. Joseph holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Marketing from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Laws from Manchester Metropolitan University. He is a CFA Charterholder and FRM Certified Professional. He is also a committee member of the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association Unit Trust Sub-committee. Joseph is fluent in Cantonese, Putonghua and English.

Hui Qing Chua is a member of Barings’ Global Client Group. She is responsible for driving business development efforts in the wealth and intermediary distribution channel and further strengthening relationships with key investors in the Southeast Asia region. Prior to joining Barings, Hui Qing spent over 11 years with Neuberger Berman in a similar capacity, covering intermediary distribution relationships in Southeast Asia. Before that, she held roles at Nikko Asset Management and Credit Suisse. Hui Qing holds a Master of Science in Applied Economics from Singapore Management University.
