Managing Director, Direct Sales, Asia North
Stephen Cheng is Managing Director of Sales, Asia North. He holds over 18 years of sales experience in the financial software industry. Stephen joined Numerix in 2008 to spearhead the launch of the Hong Kong office. He was responsible for developing new business areas within China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. During this time, Stephen built a strong customer base in the region. In 2017, he was appointed as Managing Director, North Asia to cover Korea and Japan in recognition of his success in pioneering Numerix’s growth and development in the Great China region. Stephen currently manages a dynamic sales team devoted to expanding the business and providing an unwavering commitment to the clients in the region.
Prior to joining Numerix, Stephen was Vice President of Sales for WealthCraft Systems Ltd, a wealth management software company. In that role, he focused on developing new market segments and formed strategic partnerships with large global companies. Stephen was instrumental to major client acquisitions in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Preceding this, he was a Sales Manager in Misys, currently known as Finastra.
Stephen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineer from Queen’s University, Canada.
Managing Director, Business Development, Asia Pacific
Steve Yen is Managing Director, Business Development, Asia Pacific. He joined Numerix in 2012. Prior to joining Numerix, Steve was the Sales Manager at Thomson Reuters in the Trade & Risk Management Business Practices. Steve earned a Master’s Degree in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
Managing Director, Direct Sales, Asia South
Mr. Özgül heads Numerix’s sales and operations for the Asia South region. Prior to joining Numerix, he served as Regional Product Business Director, Trade & Risk Management Practice for Reuters Asia. He held several senior-level positions in Reuters from 1998–2005.
Mr. Özgül holds a MBA degree in Financial Engineering from ESSEC in Paris and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering from Bogazici University in Istanbul.
