William Fong

William (Bill) Fong serves as Head of Alternatives Specialists Asia & Middle East at Julius Baer. Prior to joining the Bank in 2013, he was a Partner at Investor Growth Capital, a subsidiary of Investor AB, where he gained extensive experience in private equity. Earlier in his career, Bill held positions as Investment Manager at Lazard Asia, focusing on buyouts, and as Senior Associate at Buchalter, a California-based law firm, specialising in private credit and creditor rights.

Bill holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Columbia University.

Diane Raposio
Partner and Head of Asia Credit and Markets, KKR

Diane Raposio (Hong Kong) joined KKR in 2013 and is a Partner in the firm’s Credit & Markets business. Ms. Raposio is the Head of Asia Credit & Markets and the Portfolio Manager of Asia Private Credit. She is a member of the Asia Private Credit Investment Committee, the Asia Tactical Credit Investment Committee and the KCM Capital Committee. Since joining the firm, she has led a number of credit investments in Asia and has also led a broad spectrum of debt, equity and structured financings for KKR and third party clients. Prior to joining KKR, she spent six years in the leveraged debt capital markets team at Deutsche Bank (across London, Hong Kong and Sydney), UBS, Barclays, Bankers Trust and AMP. Ms. Raposio is a qualified actuary (FIAA) and holds a Masters of Economics from Macquarie University.

Pierre Widmer
Head Advisory & Sales North Asia, Managing Director, UBS Global Wealth Management

Pierre Widmer is Managing Director and Head of Advisory & Sales North Asia at UBS Global Wealth Management in Hong Kong. He oversees Sales Management, Premium Advisory Specialists, Advisory Specialists and Mandates Specialists, and coordinates product functions across Global Wealth Management North Asia. He is also closely involved in driving Global Connectivity initiatives.

Pierre began his banking career in 1991 and joined UBS in 1995, holding roles across markets, products and corporate clients in Switzerland and Asia. He has covered Asian markets since 2006 and relocated to Hong Kong in 2011. From 2013 to 2025, he led the Southeast Asia business managed out of Hong Kong.

He holds a Master of Science (MS) in Wealth Management from the Simon Business School (University of Rochester) and a MAS in Finance from the University of Bern. Pierre is a CFA chartherholder, CAIA charterholder and a Certified Wealth Management Advisor, CWMA. He is fluent in English and German and proficient in French.

Albert Yang
Head of alternative investments, Asia, J.P. Morgan Private Bank

Albert Yang is the Head of Alternative Investments for Asia at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Based in Hong Kong, his responsibilities include sourcing and due diligence of hedge fund, private equity, real estate and direct deal opportunities in Asia. He also advises private clients on global alternative investment portfolios, with a specific emphasis on clients that are in the Greater China region.

Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2011, he was a Vice President on the investment team at Vision Investment Management, an Asian hedge fund-of-funds based in Hong Kong. He was responsible for performing investment due diligence on all hedge fund strategies and managers that are located in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea. From 2003 to 2008, Albert worked at Citigroup Private Bank’s Alternative Investment Advisory Research in New York. In this capacity, he was responsible for the hedge fund manager research effort for all non-U.S. funds, with a specific focus on Asian managers. Before joining Citigroup, Albert was an Investment Consultant on alternative and traditional asset classes for corporate and public pension plans at Rogerscasey in Connecticut.

Albert holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation, and he received a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Management Information Systems from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, where he graduated with distinction.

Angus Bell
Managing Director, Head of Client Portfolio Management (CPM) for Global Wealth APAC, Apollo

Angus joined Apollo in 2025 as a Managing Director in the Client and Product Solutions group, responsible for Client Portfolio Management across APAC for Global Wealth. Before joining Apollo, Angus spent more than 20 years at Goldman Sachs where he was most recently the Head of Emerging Market Local Debt for GSAM’s Global Fixed Income business in London. Prior to this he was the Lead Portfolio Manager for their Emerging Market Debt platform. Earlier in his career he worked as a Portfolio Manager in G10 macro rates and was an Investment Strategist for the team’s Australia based Fixed Income and Multi-Sector business, focused on Strategic and Tactical asset allocation. Angus graduated from La Trobe University in Melbourne with a BSc. (Phys).

Mathieu Forcioli
Global and Asia Pacific Regional Head of Alternatives, Wealth and Premier Solutions, HSBC

Mathieu is currently global head and Asia Pacific head of alternatives, in HSBC’s global private banking and wealth division, based in Hong Kong. In this capacity, he oversees the offering of hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate funds and other private investment opportunities to HSBC’s private banking and wealth customers.

Prior to joining HSBC, Mathieu set up the private markets offering of Antarctica Asset Management, a global platform allowing wealth managers to offer their clients access to a curated offering of hedge funds and private market funds.

Before that, Mathieu set up and grew the Asia operations of Moonfare, an online platform allowing private individuals to invest in private equity funds. In the earlier part of his career, Mathieu held various leadership roles at UBS, including leadership of the wealth management private markets distribution team and the institutional investments group for APAC.

John Cheng
Managing Director, Head of Managed Solutions, LGT Bank (Hong Kong)

John is responsible for managing the multi-asset funds solutions platform for LGT’s Asian clients. John leads a team engaged in end-to-end funds due diligence canvassing the entire spectrum of public and private asset classes. He oversees the identification, positioning and advising on best-In-class managed solutions across the carefully curated, high conviction platform. He is at the forefront of industry developments shaping the managed investments space in private wealth and his expertise is actively engaged through speaking and panellist platforms at fund selector industry events.

John joined LGT Bank in 2017. Prior to that, he commenced his career at Macquarie Bank in Sydney before moving to Zurich Capital Markets and Wilson HTM Investment Group. John moved to Hong Kong in 2012 and managed the platform of public and private fund solutions for Asian clients at Coutts Private Bank and Union Bancaire Privee.

John earned a B. Comm / LLB from the University of New South Wales and holds a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance from FINSIA. He is an avid hiker and loves to spend his free time traversing the trails of Hong Kong and beyond. Away from finance, he is constantly curious about how things work, whether in the engineering, technology or socio-economic spheres

Christopher Frost
Lead Portfolio Manager, Macquarie Infrastructure Fund

Christopher is a Senior Managing Director at Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) and Executive Investment Committee member responsible for the overall development and execution of strategy for Macquarie Global Infrastructure Fund (MGIF) and Macquarie Infrastructure Fund (MIF). In addition, Christopher is the Chair of the MGIF Investment Committee.

Christopher has extensive international experience investing in and managing infrastructure assets. He was a member of the pioneering team at MAM’s Real Assets business, leading the development of the specialized infrastructure funds model and MAM’s Real Assets platform. Throughout his career at Macquarie’s Sydney, London, and New York offices, Christopher has held a number of senior leadership positions and led a wide range of transformational and value-accretive projects integral to MAM’s strong track record of delivering for investors, including the successful investment, management, and divestment of many of the MAM funds’ major infrastructure businesses.

Christopher is the Chair of the Global Infrastructure Investors Association (GIIA), the leading industry body and the voice of the world’s infrastructure investors, a position he has held since 2017. He holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honors) from La Trobe University.

David Chang
Managing Director, Head of Asia Wealth, Macquarie Asset Management

David is Head of Asia Wealth for Macquarie Asset Management (MAM), focused on building and expanding business across the region’s Wealth channel. His primary responsibilities include capital raising, client servicing and strategic partnership formation with distribution partners to positively impact both business and investment outcomes.

During his asset and wealth management career, David has worked in the US, Hong Kong and Singapore. Prior to joining Macquarie, David was Head of Asia Business Development at Lord Abbett, based in Singapore, where he was responsible for establishing the distribution business in Asia. Before that, David held senior asset management distribution roles at Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan in Hong Kong, where he moved in 2013. He started his career in finance as a private banker with J.P. Morgan in the US in 2004.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley PWM Asia in 2018, Christina was a Vice President at Bank J. Safra Sarasin Ltd, Hong Kong. Christina started her career as a Marketing Executive at Tiburon Partners LLP, London.

Pak-Seng Lai

Pak-Seng is a Managing Director and Head of Asia Private Wealth Distribution, and is based in Hong Kong. He has held similar role at Blue Owl Capital. Before that, he was a Managing Director and Head of Private Markets APAC at UBS AG. Before UBS, he was a Managing Partner of two China private equity funds. He was the Head of Asia and Managing Director of HQ Capital, a global alternative investment firm. Before HQ Capital, he was the Head of Investment Process at Schroder Adveq, a global private equity fund of funds based in Switzerland. Previously, he held positions at Transpac Capital and Singapore Technologies, where he was primarily engaged in private equity investments in Asia. He has also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Pak-Seng earned an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BA from National University of Singapore.

Monica Liu

Monica Liu is the Head of Private Markets Specialists at UBS AG in North Asia. With over 18 years of experience in private equity fund investments, Monica has established herself as a seasoned professional in the industry. Before joining UBS, she was with the principal investment arm of the Bank of China Group, where she played a pivotal role in managing private equity investments at the group level. Prior to her tenure at the Bank of China Group, Monica worked at a Swiss-based private equity firm, providing advisory services to institutional investors such as CalPERS and the Washington State Investment Board. Earlier in her career, she also served as an investment consultant with JPMorgan Chase Bank. Interestingly, this role at UBS marks her return to the company, as she started her career at UBS Asset Management.

Born in Taiwan, Monica received her B.A. in Economics from UC Berkeley.  She is fluent in English, Mandarin (native language), and conversational in Cantonese.  

Brad McCarthy
Managing Director and Head of Asia-Pacific, Carlyle Global Wealth

Brad McCarthy is a Managing Director and Head of Asia-Pacific for Carlyle Global Wealth. He is responsible for expanding Carlyle’s wealth platform across the region. He also oversees the institutional wealth channel for Carlyle in Australia and New Zealand. He is based in Singapore.

Mr. McCarthy has more than 25 years of experience in wealth and asset management, where he has led sales and client servicing teams, product launches, and distribution strategies. He joined Carlyle from Citi Private Bank and Global Wealth, where he was a Managing Director and Asia-Pacific Head of Alternative Investment Sales.

Before Citi, Mr. McCarthy was Head of Asia at Permal, where he was responsible for growing the firm’s regional business as an alternative investment provider. He has also held various investment and wealth management roles at ABN AMRO Asset Management and BT Financial Group.

Mr. McCarthy holds a Bachelor of Business from Queensland University of Technology in Australia and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).

Richard Schaupp

Richard Schaupp is an equity owner and Managing Director and Head of Private Wealth Distribution with Clarion Partners. He leads the Portfolio Management teams for Clarion Partners Real Estate Income Fund (CPREX) and Clarion Ventures Qualified Opportunity Zone Partners (CV QOZP). As lead Portfolio Manager, Rick has overall responsibility for the management and portfolio strategy of these relationships. From 2005-2012, Rick was the assistant portfolio manager for the Clarion Ventures series and a separate account relationship. Rick has participated in the acquisition, asset management, and development management of over $6.0BN of real estate. He originally joined Clarion Partners in 2000 and began working in the real estate industry in 1995. Connie Sin

Connie Sin joined Nomura in 2024 as Head of Funds and Alternatives for International Wealth Management. She is responsible for leading and developing strategies for the managed funds business across the region by balancing innovative product offerings with strong advisory services. Connie has been in the wealth management and asset management industries for two decades, with experiences as fund advisor and investment director. Prior to joining Nomura, Connie held a similar role as Head of Managed Investments with Standard Chartered in Hong Kong, responsible for the managed investments distribution business and overall strategy. Before that, Connie was an Executive Director in the fund advisory team at BNP Paribas Wealth Management. She has also worked at other financial institutions including Citibank, AIG Private Bank and CLSA.

James Savastano, CFA

Gregory Wu

Gary Rozier

Shawn Lese

Michael Ostro

Meng Keet Wong

Mr. Wong Meng Keet joined the UOB Group in 2013 and is Head of Managed Products and Alternative Investments at UOB Private Bank. Jiun Wen Chee

Jiun Wen brings over two decades of experience across alternatives, private wealth and institutional advisory. Most recently, he served as a Managing Director at Bank of Singapore, where he led the bank’s alternative investments platform and played a pivotal role in expanding client adoption of private markets, overseeing significant growth in assets across private equity, private credit, venture capital, real assets and hedge funds. Mischa Bitton

Phil Cummins

Gian-Maria Piccolo

Gian-Maria Piccolo is a managing director of Deutsche Bank in the private bank, based in Singapore. He is head of investment management for emerging markets.

Gian-Maria joined Deutsche Bank in 2019 based in Zurich and was responsible for the investment manager teams for Europe (ex-Germany), aiming to deliver best-in-class investment solutions on discretionary and advisory portfolios to clients. With the creation of IPB in 2020, he became responsible for the EMEA region and was appointed to run advisory and sales in 2021 – responsible for investment specialist teams based across Switzerland, Luxembourg, the UK and the US (exclusively for Latin American clients). Following the new structure of the private bank he was appointed to lead all investment management teams covering emerging markets clients globally and relocated to Singapore.

Royston Low

Christophe Marciano

Akshay Prasad is Managing Director and Head of Investment Products and Advisory Solutions for Nomura's International Wealth Management division. He joined the firm in 2020 and is based in Singapore. His mandate includes expanding Nomura's product and advisory solutions across a wide range of asset classes, specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of wealth clients.

With over two decades in the banking sector, Akshay has a strong background in delivering innovative portfolio management solutions, catering to ultra-high-net-worth clients and family offices, and streamlining digital enhancements, which elevate both the banker and client experience.

Prior to Nomura, Akshay held several pivotal senior roles in Investment and Wealth Management functions at Deutsche Bank. Notably, he served as the Head of Investments for Global South Asia, Head of Capital Markets, and Head of Structured Products and Derivatives. Morgan Private Bank, she advised ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices and endowments.

Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Private Bank in 2017, she was a Managed Solutions Advisory Director with Standard Chartered Private Bank, advising high net worth clients on managed solutions across Southeast Asia. Before joining Standard Chartered Private Bank in 2015, she spent a decade with Citibank where she was responsible for manager selection. Sunnie Yun

Before relocating to Singapore in September 2022, Antoine was based in Geneva, where he co-led the Alternative Investments practice for Europe and the Middle-East, covering entrepreneurs, financial executives as well as a significant number of large institutional family offices.

Mischa Bitton

Gabriel Chan

Chee Jiun Wen is Head of Private Markets, APAC Wealth at Franklin Templeton. He is responsible for strategy and expanding Franklin Templeton's Private Markets franchise to wealth clients across Asia Pacific.

Jiun Wen brings over two decades of experience across alternatives, private wealth and institutional advisory. Most recently, he served as a Managing Director at Bank of Singapore, where he led the bank’s alternative investments platform and played a pivotal role in expanding client adoption of private markets, overseeing significant growth in assets across private equity, private credit, venture capital, real assets and hedge funds. Mathieu Forcioli

Mathieu is currently global head and Asia Pacific head of alternatives, in HSBC’s global private banking and wealth division, based in Hong Kong. In this capacity, he oversees the offering of hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate funds and other private investment opportunities to HSBC’s private banking and wealth customers.

Prior to joining HSBC, Mathieu set up the private markets offering of Antarctica Asset Management, a global platform allowing wealth managers to offer their clients access to a curated offering of hedge funds and private market funds.

Before that, Mathieu set up and grew the Asia operations of Moonfare, an online platform allowing private individuals to invest in private equity funds. Christopher Frost

Lead Portfolio Manager, Macquarie Infrastructure Fund

Christopher is a Senior Managing Director at Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) and Executive Investment Committee member responsible for the overall development and execution of strategy for Macquarie Global Infrastructure Fund (MGIF) and Macquarie Infrastructure Fund (MIF). In addition, Christopher is the Chair of the MGIF Investment Committee.

Christopher has extensive international experience investing in and managing infrastructure assets. He was a member of the pioneering team at MAM’s Real Assets business, leading the development of the specialized infrastructure funds model and MAM’s Real Assets platform. Throughout his career at Macquarie’s Sydney, London, and New York offices, Christopher has held a number of senior leadership positions and led a wide range of transformational and value-accretive projects integral to MAM’s strong track record of delivering for investors, including the successful investment, management, and divestment of many of the MAM funds’ major infrastructure businesses.

Before HQ Capital, he was the Head of Investment Process at Schroder Adveq, a global private equity fund of funds based in Switzerland. Previously, he held positions at Transpac Capital and Singapore Technologies, where he was primarily engaged in private equity investments in Asia. He has also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Mandy Lee has 20 years of experience and is the Head of Asia ex Japan, Private Wealth, at Brookfield, based in Singapore. She leads the Marketing and Business Development efforts of Brookfield’s Private Wealth business in Greater China and Southeast Asia. Prior to joining the firm, Mandy was Asia co-head of Private Wealth Distribution at BlackRock, leading the distribution of Wealth solutions spanning across mutual funds, ETFs, Alternatives and custom solutions in Asia. Before BlackRock, Mandy has also served as investment sales to both corporate and private wealth clients at HSBC Global Markets and Macquarie Securities respectively.

Shawn Lese

Shawn serves as the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Funds Management for Nuveen Real Estate’s ~$100 billion Americas platform. He leads a team of seasoned portfolio managers in driving investment performance and partnering with our clients on their current and prospective real estate investments. In addition, as Chief Investment Officer, Americas Shawn oversees the end-to end investment process. He is a member of the Global Executive Leadership Team and Americas Investment Committee.

Prior to joining the business in 2015, Shawn served as a managing director on the capital markets team of Grosvenor Fund Management. Shawn has also worked as an officer in Morgan Stanley’s real estate investment banking group. Additional experience includes positions at Lazard, JPMorgan and Sullivan & Cromwell. He entered the industry in 1998.

Monica Liu

Monica Liu is the Head of Private Markets Specialists at UBS AG in North Asia. With over 18 years of experience in private equity fund investments, Monica has established herself as a seasoned professional in the industry. Before joining UBS, she was with the principal investment arm of the Bank of China Group, where she played a pivotal role in managing private equity investments at the group level. Prior to her tenure at the Bank of China Group, Monica worked at a Swiss-based private equity firm, providing advisory services to institutional investors such as CalPERS and the Washington State Investment Board. Earlier in her career, she also served as an investment consultant with JPMorgan Chase Bank. Interestingly, this role at UBS marks her return to the company, as she started her career at UBS Asset Management.

Born in Taiwan, Monica received her B.A. in Economics from UC Berkeley.  She is fluent in English, Mandarin (native language), and conversational in Cantonese.  

Royston Low

Managing Director, Private Assets Solutions, Lombard Odier Investment Managers

Royston Low is Managing Director, Private Assets Solutions, at Lombard Odier Investment Managers. He joined Lombard Odier in 2025 and is based in Singapore.

As part of Lombard Odier’s Global Strategic Alliance team, Royston leads and curates Lombard Odier’s platform to widen the scope of products and services in private assets for its ecosystem of Strategic Alliances. He is also involved in developing new business opportunities in emerging markets for private assets.

Prior to joining Lombard Odier, Royston was Head of Private Investments, Asia at BNP Paribas Wealth Management for close to 15 years, where he was responsible for the selection and marketing of private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and credit funds. Before founding S64, Tarun was the Global Head of Alternatives & Solutions at Deutsche Bank and a member of the Executive Committee of Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management and DWS where he oversaw over $65b of assets across Private Equity, Private Credit, Infrastructure, Hedge Funds and Multi-Asset Solutions with a team of over 250 professionals. Tarun holds a Master of Arts in Law from Pembroke College, Cambridge and is a Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.

Jason Ng

Michael Ostro

Michael Ostro, who joined UBP in 2016, is the Head of Investor Relations for UBP’s Private Markets Group (PMG), where he oversees the global distribution of private market solutions for UBP’s clients. Having joined PMG as an investment specialist, Michael supported the growth of UBP’s private market franchise across EMEA and, from 2022, Asia.

Prior to joining the UBP PMG, Michael was an Investment Analyst on the trading desk of a multi-family office in London, ACPI Investment Managers (acquired by UBP), from 2016 to 2018. Before beginning his career in finance, he spearheaded the retail expansion of his family business, Ostro Minerals, from 2010 to 2016.

Stephen Pak

Stephen is the Head of APAC Alternative Specialists and is responsible for driving Citi Wealth’s alternative investment’s business in the region.

Prior to joining Citi Private Bank, Stephen was Executive Director at UBS Investment Bank where he led the APAC Capital Introduction team, providing advisory content and business development services to UBS’s hedge fund clients. Prior to UBS, he was the head of Credit Suisse liquid alternatives in Asia. Before joining Credit Suisse, he conducted Asia hedge fund manager research at SAIL Advisors, a Hong Kong family office. Stephen started his buy side career with Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s Asia ex Japan equity team.

Stephen is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management as well as BA in Economics and Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Gian-Maria Piccolo

Gian-Maria Piccolo is a managing director of Deutsche Bank in the private bank, based in Singapore. He is head of investment management for emerging markets.

Gian-Maria joined Deutsche Bank in 2019 based in Zurich and was responsible for the investment manager teams for Europe (ex-Germany), aiming to deliver best-in-class investment solutions on discretionary and advisory portfolios to clients. With the creation of IPB in 2020, he became responsible for the EMEA region and was appointed to run advisory and sales in 2021 – responsible for investment specialist teams based across Switzerland, Luxembourg, the UK and the US (exclusively for Latin American clients). Following the new structure of the private bank he was appointed to lead all investment management teams covering emerging markets clients globally and relocated to Singapore.

Akshay Prasad

Diane Raposio

Diane Raposio (Hong Kong) joined KKR in 2013 and is a Partner in the firm’s Credit & Markets business. Ms. Raposio is the Head of Asia Credit & Markets and the Portfolio Manager of Asia Private Credit. She is a member of the Asia Private Credit Investment Committee, the Asia Tactical Credit Investment Committee and the KCM Capital Committee. Since joining the firm, she has led a number of credit investments in Asia and has also led a broad spectrum of debt, equity and structured financings for KKR and third party clients. Thomas Roland-Guyot

Gary Rozier

Connie has been in the wealth management and asset management industries for two decades, with experiences as fund advisor and investment director. Prior to joining Nomura, Connie held a similar role as Head of Managed Investments with Standard Chartered in Hong Kong, responsible for the managed investments distribution business and overall strategy. Before that, Connie was an Executive Director in the fund advisory team at BNP Paribas Wealth Management. Pierre Widmer

Pierre Widmer is Managing Director and Head of Advisory & Sales North Asia at UBS Global Wealth Management in Hong Kong. He oversees Sales Management, Premium Advisory Specialists, Advisory Specialists and Mandates Specialists, and coordinates product functions across Global Wealth Management North Asia. He is also closely involved in driving Global Connectivity initiatives.

Pierre began his banking career in 1991 and joined UBS in 1995, holding roles across markets, products and corporate clients in Switzerland and Asia. He has covered Asian markets since 2006 and relocated to Hong Kong in 2011. From 2013 to 2025, he led the Southeast Asia business managed out of Hong Kong.

Meng Keet Wong

Mr. Wong Meng Keet joined the UOB Group in 2013 and is Head of Managed Products and Alternative Investments at UOB Private Bank. Mr. Wong is responsible for the Bank’s Managed Product Solutions, including traditional long only funds, alternative investments, and discretionary portfolio management (DPM) sales. Gregory Wu

Gregory joined DBS in 2011 and has more than 10 years of experience across private asset investing, investment banking and structured finance. He is currently the Head of Managed Solutions at DBS Hong Kong, overseeing mutual fund, hedge fund and private asset fund products. 

Gregory was most recently based in Singapore where he led the sourcing and selection of Private Asset Evergreen Funds and Direct Investments. Prior to this, Gregory was in the Institutional Banking Group where he was involved in various transactions across Asia including M&A, secondary transactions, fundraising and leveraged financing.

Albert Yang

Head of alternative investments, Asia, J.P. Morgan Private Bank

Albert Yang is the Head of Alternative Investments for Asia at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Based in Hong Kong, his responsibilities include sourcing and due diligence of hedge fund, private equity, real estate and direct deal opportunities in Asia. He also advises private clients on global alternative investment portfolios, with a specific emphasis on clients that are in the Greater China region.

Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2011, he was a Vice President on the investment team at Vision Investment Management, an Asian hedge fund-of-funds based in Hong Kong. He was responsible for performing investment due diligence on all hedge fund strategies and managers that are located in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea. From 2003 to 2008, Albert worked at Citigroup Private Bank’s Alternative Investment Advisory Research in New York. In this capacity, he was responsible for the hedge fund manager research effort for all non-U.S. funds, with a specific focus on Asian managers. Gabriel Chan

David Chang

John Cheng

Henry Chui

Mathieu Forcioli

Mathieu is currently global head and Asia Pacific head of alternatives, in HSBC’s global private banking and wealth division, based in Hong Kong. In this capacity, he oversees the offering of hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate funds and other private investment opportunities to HSBC’s private banking and wealth customers.

Prior to joining HSBC, Mathieu set up the private markets offering of Antarctica Asset Management, a global platform allowing wealth managers to offer their clients access to a curated offering of hedge funds and private market funds.

Before that, Mathieu set up and grew the Asia operations of Moonfare, an online platform allowing private individuals to invest in private equity funds. In the earlier part of his career, Mathieu held various leadership roles at UBS, including leadership of the wealth management private markets distribution team and the institutional investments group for APAC.

Christopher is a Senior Managing Director at Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) and Executive Investment Committee member responsible for the overall development and execution of strategy for Macquarie Global Infrastructure Fund (MGIF) and Macquarie Infrastructure Fund (MIF). In addition, Christopher is the Chair of the MGIF Investment Committee.

Christopher has extensive international experience investing in and managing infrastructure assets. He was a member of the pioneering team at MAM’s Real Assets business, leading the development of the specialized infrastructure funds model and MAM’s Real Assets platform. Throughout his career at Macquarie’s Sydney, London, and New York offices, Christopher has held a number of senior leadership positions and led a wide range of transformational and value-accretive projects integral to MAM’s strong track record of delivering for investors, including the successful investment, management, and divestment of many of the MAM funds’ major infrastructure businesses.

Christopher is the Chair of the Global Infrastructure Investors Association (GIIA), the leading industry body and the voice of the world’s infrastructure investors, a position he has held since 2017. He holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honors) from La Trobe University.

Pak-Seng Lai

Pak-Seng is a Managing Director and Head of Asia Private Wealth Distribution, and is based in Hong Kong. He has held similar role at Blue Owl Capital. Before that, he was a Managing Director and Head of Private Markets APAC at UBS AG. Before UBS, he was a Managing Partner of two China private equity funds. He was the Head of Asia and Managing Director of HQ Capital, a global alternative investment firm. Before HQ Capital, he was the Head of Investment Process at Schroder Adveq, a global private equity fund of funds based in Switzerland. Previously, he held positions at Transpac Capital and Singapore Technologies, where he was primarily engaged in private equity investments in Asia. He has also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Pak-Seng earned an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BA from National University of Singapore.

Mandy Lee has 20 years of experience and is the Head of Asia ex Japan, Private Wealth, at Brookfield, based in Singapore. She leads the Marketing and Business Development efforts of Brookfield’s Private Wealth business in Greater China and Southeast Asia. Prior to joining the firm, Mandy was Asia co-head of Private Wealth Distribution at BlackRock, leading the distribution of Wealth solutions spanning across mutual funds, ETFs, Alternatives and custom solutions in Asia. Before BlackRock, Mandy has also served as investment sales to both corporate and private wealth clients at HSBC Global Markets and Macquarie Securities respectively.

Shawn Lese

Shawn serves as the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Funds Management for Nuveen Real Estate’s ~$100 billion Americas platform. He leads a team of seasoned portfolio managers in driving investment performance and partnering with our clients on their current and prospective real estate investments. In addition, as Chief Investment Officer, Americas Shawn oversees the end-to end investment process. He is a member of the Global Executive Leadership Team and Americas Investment Committee.

Prior to joining the business in 2015, Shawn served as a managing director on the capital markets team of Grosvenor Fund Management. Shawn has also worked as an officer in Morgan Stanley’s real estate investment banking group. Additional experience includes positions at Lazard, JPMorgan and Sullivan & Cromwell. He entered the industry in 1998.

Monica Liu

Monica Liu is the Head of Private Markets Specialists at UBS AG in North Asia. With over 18 years of experience in private equity fund investments, Monica has established herself as a seasoned professional in the industry. Before joining UBS, she was with the principal investment arm of the Bank of China Group, where she played a pivotal role in managing private equity investments at the group level. Prior to her tenure at the Bank of China Group, Monica worked at a Swiss-based private equity firm, providing advisory services to institutional investors such as CalPERS and the Washington State Investment Board. Earlier in her career, she also served as an investment consultant with JPMorgan Chase Bank. Interestingly, this role at UBS marks her return to the company, as she started her career at UBS Asset Management.

Born in Taiwan, Monica received her B.A. in Economics from UC Berkeley.  She is fluent in English, Mandarin (native language), and conversational in Cantonese.  

Brad McCarthy

Managing Director and Head of Asia-Pacific, Carlyle Global Wealth

Brad McCarthy is a Managing Director and Head of Asia-Pacific for Carlyle Global Wealth. He is responsible for expanding Carlyle’s wealth platform across the region. He also oversees the institutional wealth channel for Carlyle in Australia and New Zealand. He is based in Singapore.

Mr. McCarthy has more than 25 years of experience in wealth and asset management, where he has led sales and client servicing teams, product launches, and distribution strategies. He joined Carlyle from Citi Private Bank and Global Wealth, where he was a Managing Director and Asia-Pacific Head of Alternative Investment Sales.

Before Citi, Mr. McCarthy was Head of Asia at Permal, where he was responsible for growing the firm’s regional business as an alternative investment provider. He has also held various investment and wealth management roles at ABN AMRO Asset Management and BT Financial Group.

Michael Ostro

Michael Ostro, who joined UBP in 2016, is the Head of Investor Relations for UBP’s Private Markets Group (PMG), where he oversees the global distribution of private market solutions for UBP’s clients. Having joined PMG as an investment specialist, Michael supported the growth of UBP’s private market franchise across EMEA and, from 2022, Asia.

Prior to joining the UBP PMG, Michael was an Investment Analyst on the trading desk of a multi-family office in London, ACPI Investment Managers (acquired by UBP), from 2016 to 2018. Before beginning his career in finance, he spearheaded the retail expansion of his family business, Ostro Minerals, from 2010 to 2016.

Stephen Pak

Prior to UBS, he was the head of Credit Suisse liquid alternatives in Asia. Before joining Credit Suisse, he conducted Asia hedge fund manager research at SAIL Advisors, a Hong Kong family office. Diane Raposio

Diane Raposio (Hong Kong) joined KKR in 2013 and is a Partner in the firm’s Credit & Markets business. Ms. Raposio is the Head of Asia Credit & Markets and the Portfolio Manager of Asia Private Credit. She is a member of the Asia Private Credit Investment Committee, the Asia Tactical Credit Investment Committee and the KCM Capital Committee. Gary Rozier

Richard Schaupp

Connie Sin

Connie Sin joined Nomura in 2024 as Head of Funds and Alternatives for International Wealth Management. Connie has been in the wealth management and asset management industries for two decades, with experiences as fund advisor and investment director. Prior to joining Nomura, Connie held a similar role as Head of Managed Investments with Standard Chartered in Hong Kong, responsible for the managed investments distribution business and overall strategy. Before that, Connie was an Executive Director in the fund advisory team at BNP Paribas Wealth Management. Pierre Widmer

Pierre Widmer is Managing Director and Head of Advisory & Sales North Asia at UBS Global Wealth Management in Hong Kong. He oversees Sales Management, Premium Advisory Specialists, Advisory Specialists and Mandates Specialists, and coordinates product functions across Global Wealth Management North Asia. He is also closely involved in driving Global Connectivity initiatives.

Pierre began his banking career in 1991 and joined UBS in 1995, holding roles across markets, products and corporate clients in Switzerland and Asia. Gregory Wu

Gregory joined DBS in 2011 and has more than 10 years of experience across private asset investing, investment banking and structured finance. He is currently the Head of Managed Solutions at DBS Hong Kong, overseeing mutual fund, hedge fund and private asset fund products.

Albert Yang

Albert Yang is the Head of Alternative Investments for Asia at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Based in Hong Kong, his responsibilities include sourcing and due diligence of hedge fund, private equity, real estate and direct deal opportunities in Asia. He also advises private clients on global alternative investment portfolios, with a specific emphasis on clients that are in the Greater China region.

Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2011, he was a Vice President on the investment team at Vision Investment Management, an Asian hedge fund-of-funds based in Hong Kong. He was responsible for performing investment due diligence on all hedge fund strategies and managers that are located in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea. From 2003 to 2008, Albert worked at Citigroup Private Bank’s Alternative Investment Advisory Research in New York. In this capacity, he was responsible for the hedge fund manager research effort for all non-U.S. funds, with a specific focus on Asian managers. Before joining Citigroup, Albert was an Investment Consultant on alternative and traditional asset classes for corporate and public pension plans at Rogerscasey in Connecticut.

Angus Bell

Mischa Bitton

Antoine des Noyers

Antoine des Noyers is a senior product specialist within the Alternative Investments Group of J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank. Venu Krishnamurthy

Senior Vice President, Head of Asia ex Japan, Private Wealth, Brookfield

Mandy Lee has 20 years of experience and is the Head of Asia ex Japan, Private Wealth, at Brookfield, based in Singapore. She leads the Marketing and Business Development efforts of Brookfield’s Private Wealth business in Greater China and Southeast Asia. Prior to joining the firm, Mandy was Asia co-head of Private Wealth Distribution at BlackRock, leading the distribution of Wealth solutions spanning across mutual funds, ETFs, Alternatives and custom solutions in Asia. Before BlackRock, Mandy has also served as investment sales to both corporate and private wealth clients at HSBC Global Markets and Macquarie Securities respectively.

Mandy earned her Master of Business Administration at the University of Cambridge and Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Mandy holds qualification of Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM).

Shawn Lese

Chief Investment Officer and Head of Funds Management, Americas, Nuveen Real Estate

Shawn serves as the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Funds Management for Nuveen Real Estate’s ~$100 billion Americas platform. He leads a team of seasoned portfolio managers in driving investment performance and partnering with our clients on their current and prospective real estate investments. In addition, as Chief Investment Officer, Americas Shawn oversees the end-to end investment process. He is a member of the Global Executive Leadership Team and Americas Investment Committee.

Prior to joining the business in 2015, Shawn served as a managing director on the capital markets team of Grosvenor Fund Management. Shawn has also worked as an officer in Morgan Stanley’s real estate investment banking group. Additional experience includes positions at Lazard, JPMorgan and Sullivan & Cromwell. He entered the industry in 1998.

Shawn graduated with a B.A. from Columbia College of Columbia University, an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law.

Royston Low

Managing Director, Private Assets Solutions, Lombard Odier Investment Managers

Royston Low is Managing Director, Private Assets Solutions, at Lombard Odier Investment Managers. He joined Lombard Odier in 2025 and is based in Singapore.

As part of Lombard Odier’s Global Strategic Alliance team, Royston leads and curates Lombard Odier’s platform to widen the scope of products and services in private assets for its ecosystem of Strategic Alliances. He is also involved in developing new business opportunities in emerging markets for private assets.

Prior to joining Lombard Odier, Royston was Head of Private Investments, Asia at BNP Paribas Wealth Management for close to 15 years, where he was responsible for the selection and marketing of private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and credit funds. He also held various roles at Bank of Singapore and TIF Ventures, specialising in private equity and venture capital investments. 

Royston graduated with a Master of Science degree from the National University of Singapore.

Christophe Marciano

Head of Discretionary Portfolio Management, DBS Private Bank

Christophe Marciano is Head of Discretionary Portfolio Management at DBS Private Bank, where he oversees the management of tailored, multi-asset portfolios for private and ultra-high-net-worth clients. He leads the portfolio management tean responsible for managing discretionary mandates across risk profiles, integrating public and private markets within a consistent framework. With over 25 years of international investment experience, Christophe has managed multi-asset portfolios through multiple market cycles. Prior to joining DBS in 2014, he held senior investment roles at Crédit Lyonnais Suisse, Crédit Agricole Indosuez, and Société Générale Private Banking. Christophe holds a Master’s degree in Finance from ESCP Europe (Paris) and a Master’s degree in Management from SKEMA Business School.

Brad McCarthy

Managing Director and Head of Asia-Pacific, Carlyle Global Wealth

Brad McCarthy is a Managing Director and Head of Asia-Pacific for Carlyle Global Wealth. He is responsible for expanding Carlyle’s wealth platform across the region. He also oversees the institutional wealth channel for Carlyle in Australia and New Zealand. He is based in Singapore.

Mr. McCarthy has more than 25 years of experience in wealth and asset management, where he has led sales and client servicing teams, product launches, and distribution strategies. He joined Carlyle from Citi Private Bank and Global Wealth, where he was a Managing Director and Asia-Pacific Head of Alternative Investment Sales.

Before Citi, Mr. McCarthy was Head of Asia at Permal, where he was responsible for growing the firm’s regional business as an alternative investment provider. He has also held various investment and wealth management roles at ABN AMRO Asset Management and BT Financial Group.

Mr. McCarthy holds a Bachelor of Business from Queensland University of Technology in Australia and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).

Tarun Nagpal

Founder & Chief Executive Officer, S64

Tarun Nagpal is the founder of S64 Ventures Limited, a fintech alternatives investment platform focused on delivering innovative private markets access to private wealth and retail globally. Tarun has over 20 years’ experience in finance across asset management, wealth management and investment banking. Before founding S64, Tarun was the Global Head of Alternatives & Solutions at Deutsche Bank and a member of the Executive Committee of Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management and DWS where he oversaw over $65b of assets across Private Equity, Private Credit, Infrastructure, Hedge Funds and Multi-Asset Solutions with a team of over 250 professionals. Tarun holds a Master of Arts in Law from Pembroke College, Cambridge and is a Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.

Jason Ng

Alternatives Specialist, Asia & Middle East, Julius Baer

Jason Ng is an Alternative Specialist for Asia and Middle East at Julius Baer.

Based in Singapore, he is responsible for alternatives investments advisory (comprising hedge funds, private equity and private credit) and facilitating third party investment banking / corporate finance advisory and financing solutions for clients of Julius Baer.

Prior to joining Julius Baer in 2017, Jason was an investment banker with Evercore and Credit Suisse, focusing on Mergers & Acquisitions, private and public capital fund raising, and structured financing.

Jason graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honours in Finance) from The University of Melbourne.

Michael Ostro

Head of Investor Relations, Private Markets Group, Union Bancaire Privée

Michael Ostro, who joined UBP in 2016, is the Head of Investor Relations for UBP’s Private Markets Group (PMG), where he oversees the global distribution of private market solutions for UBP’s clients. Having joined PMG as an investment specialist, Michael supported the growth of UBP’s private market franchise across EMEA and, from 2022, Asia.

Prior to joining the UBP PMG, Michael was an Investment Analyst on the trading desk of a multi-family office in London, ACPI Investment Managers (acquired by UBP), from 2016 to 2018. Before beginning his career in finance, he spearheaded the retail expansion of his family business, Ostro Minerals, from 2010 to 2016.

Michael graduated with Distinction from the Cornell School of Hotel Administration in 2015 and held a place on the University Dean’s List for six semesters.

Gian-Maria Piccolo

Head of Investment Management, Emerging Markets, Deutsche Bank

Gian-Maria Piccolo is a managing director of Deutsche Bank in the private bank, based in Singapore. He is head of investment management for emerging markets.

Gian-Maria joined Deutsche Bank in 2019 based in Zurich and was responsible for the investment manager teams for Europe (ex-Germany), aiming to deliver best-in-class investment solutions on discretionary and advisory portfolios to clients. With the creation of IPB in 2020, he became responsible for the EMEA region and was appointed to run advisory and sales in 2021 – responsible for investment specialist teams based across Switzerland, Luxembourg, the UK and the US (exclusively for Latin American clients). Following the new structure of the private bank he was appointed to lead all investment management teams covering emerging markets clients globally and relocated to Singapore.

Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, he spent nearly eight years at Credit Suisse in the international wealth management division as an UHNWI advisor covering single family offices and complex clients.

Gian-Maria started his professional life working in the equity derivatives and equity structuring divisions of Deutsche Bank (Milan and London) and BNP Paribas.

Gian-Maria holds a Master of Science degree in finance and a Bachelor of Economics degree from Bocconi University in Milan. He is married and a father of two children.

Akshay Prasad

Head of investment products and advisory solutions, International Wealth Management, Nomura

Akshay Prasad is Managing Director and Head of Investment Products and Advisory Solutions for Nomura's International Wealth Management division. He joined the firm in 2020 and is based in Singapore. His mandate includes expanding Nomura's product and advisory solutions across a wide range of asset classes, specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of wealth clients.

With over two decades in the banking sector, Akshay has a strong background in delivering innovative portfolio management solutions, catering to ultra-high-net-worth clients and family offices, and streamlining digital enhancements, which elevate both the banker and client experience.

Prior to Nomura, Akshay held several pivotal senior roles in Investment and Wealth Management functions at Deutsche Bank. Notably, he served as the Head of Investments for Global South Asia, Head of Capital Markets, and Head of Structured Products and Derivatives. Before joining Deutsche Bank, he worked across various functions at Citi.

Akshay holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the National University of Singapore.

Diane Raposio

Partner and Head of Asia Credit and Markets, KKR

Diane Raposio (Hong Kong) joined KKR in 2013 and is a Partner in the firm’s Credit & Markets business. Ms. Raposio is the Head of Asia Credit & Markets and the Portfolio Manager of Asia Private Credit. She is a member of the Asia Private Credit Investment Committee, the Asia Tactical Credit Investment Committee and the KCM Capital Committee. Since joining the firm, she has led a number of credit investments in Asia and has also led a broad spectrum of debt, equity and structured financings for KKR and third party clients. Prior to joining KKR, she spent six years in the leveraged debt capital markets team at Deutsche Bank (across London, Hong Kong and Sydney), UBS, Barclays, Bankers Trust and AMP. Ms. Raposio is a qualified actuary (FIAA) and holds a Masters of Economics from Macquarie University.

Thomas Roland-Guyot

Thomas Roland Guyot is the Head of Private Markets Investment Specialists for SEA at UBS Global Wealth Management. Before joining UBS, Thomas worked as Head of Asia Pacific Private Equity Investments at CA Indosuez Wealth Management, the Wealth Management unit of the French Bank Credit Agricole. He oversaw primary, secondary and co-investment activities across Asia-Pacific covering Private Equity, Private Debt and Private Equity Real Estate. He was also responsible for business development activities and client advisory in Singapore office.

Prior to that, he was originating, assessing & monitoring Private Markets Funds across Europe and US based in Geneva at CA Indosuez Wealth Management. Thomas also had various corporate finance experiences as Leveraged Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions and Financial Auditor.

Thomas holds a Master of Science in Corporate Finance and Banking from EDHEC Business School, France.

Gary Rozier

Senior Managing Director, Real Assets Management Team, Blue Owl

Gary Rozier is a Senior Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Real Assets Management Team. In his role, Gary serves on the investment committee and is responsible for reviewing and approving Real Assets transactions, as well as interfacing with limited partners on the investment portfolios.

Gary was Senior Vice President at Ariel Investments for 14 years where he was responsible for business development and client services. Prior to joining Ariel, Gary spent 5 years with Rydex Funds, now Guggenheim Investments, where he served as regional vice president responsible for product development and distribution across the Midwest.

Gary earned a BA in Economics from the University of Maryland.

Richard Schaupp

Managing Director & Portfolio Manager, Clarion Partners (a Franklin Templeton company)

Richard Schaupp is an equity owner and Managing Director and Head of Private Wealth Distribution with Clarion Partners. He leads the Portfolio Management teams for Clarion Partners Real Estate Income Fund (CPREX) and Clarion Ventures Qualified Opportunity Zone Partners (CV QOZP). As lead Portfolio Manager, Rick has overall responsibility for the management and portfolio strategy of these relationships. From 2005-2012, Rick was the assistant portfolio manager for the Clarion Ventures series and a separate account relationship. Rick has participated in the acquisition, asset management, and development management of over $6.0BN of real estate. He originally joined Clarion Partners in 2000 and began working in the real estate industry in 1995. Rick holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A from Yale University.

Cheryl Tan

Head of Fund Specialists, Asia and Middle East, Julius Baer

Cheryl Tan is Head of Fund Specialists, Asia and Middle East at Julius Baer. The team is responsible for providing active investment advice and sales for Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds and Private Equity.

She joined in December 2013, following the Bank’s integration of the Merrill Lynch International Wealth Management Business (outside the US).

Prior to joining Merrill Lynch International Wealth Management in 2007, she spent seven years as a Financial Advisor at Citigroup, Smith Barney (Singapore).

Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (with Honours) from the National University of Singapore.

Meng Keet Wong

Head of Managed Products and Alternative Investments, UOB Private Bank

Mr. Wong Meng Keet joined the UOB Group in 2013 and is Head of Managed Products and Alternative Investments at UOB Private Bank. Mr. Wong is responsible for the Bank’s Managed Product Solutions, including traditional long only funds, alternative investments, and discretionary portfolio management (DPM) sales. In this role, Mr. Wong also oversees the Bank’s Fund Advisory and Fund Due Diligence teams. Before joining UOB Private Bank in 2016, Mr. Wong managed the UOB Group’s proprietary investments in three vintages of private equity and a hedge fund of funds.

Prior to joining UOB Private Bank, Mr. Wong was a Partner and Senior Analyst at Albourne Partners, the world’s largest consultant on complicated assets with over USD 650bn under advice. There, he advised institutional investors, including sovereign funds, state and corporate pension plans, endowments and foundations and family offices on alternative investment allocations. Earlier in his career, Mr. Wong held positions at UBS AG and BearingPoint.

Mr. Wong has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, a Bachelor of Law from Wolfson College, Cambridge University, and a Bachelor of History from Yale University.

Sunnie Yun

Head of Private Wealth Southeast Asia and Korea, Member of Management, Partners Group

Sunnie Yun is the head of Private Wealth business for Southeast Asia and Korea, and joined Partners Group Singapore in 2024. Previously, she was at PIMCO managing the firm’s relationships with global and regional private banks and family offices in Southeast Asia. Prior to moving to Singapore in 2017, she was based in New York with the global wealth management group. In addition, she was with Goldman Sachs and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. She holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an undergraduate degree in economics from Korea University. She served on the board of executive committee of CAIA Singapore Chapter. She is a CFA and CAIA Charterholder.
