MetLife China appointed Peter Alexander Smyth as a member of the board, according to CIRS announcement today (June 10). Metlife is a joint venture between Shanghai Alliance Investment and US-based MetLife. Elsewhere Chartis China has also appointed Bian Hong-wei as the secretary for the board, according to CIRS.
