Bangkok full house for APB’s Thailand Leaders Conversation

BANGKOK, Thailand—26.06.2025. Asian Private Banker Thailand Private Banking Leaders Conversation 2025

Asian Private Banker brought together Thailand’s top wealth leaders in Bangkok for the second annual Thailand Private Banking Leaders Conversation, drawing a full house of senior executives, private bankers, and product specialists from both domestic and international wealth management circles.

This year’s edition delved into Thailand’s growing prominence on the global wealth map and how the industry is rising to meet the evolving expectations of both first-generation wealth creators and the next generation of Thai clients. Against the backdrop of regulatory shifts and a maturing market, speakers shared insights on talent strategy, product innovation, and navigating the path from referral to full-fledged advisory.

Discussions centred on how banks are bridging gaps on the product shelf, crafting differentiated coverage models for affluent, HNW and UHNW Thai clients, and guiding decision making around the country’s evolving wealth tax landscape. There was also a strong focus on governance, legacy planning, and family business restructuring, key concerns for clients looking to preserve and grow intergenerational wealth.

Another highlight was the debate around how international and local banks are forming partnerships to future-proof their Thailand strategies, as well as the country’s broader ambition to position itself as a global financial hub. With the recent passage of Thailand’s Financial Hub Act, many attendees reflected on what this means for property ownership, offshore investments, and the emergence of new asset classes, such as crypto.

Here are some moments from the event. Stay tuned as we bring you in-depth coverage with the key voices driving the future of private banking in Thailand.
