Bank of Singapore: Oil price drop is “silver lining” for Asian currencies

Although the Asian market has been facing a series of headwinds given a stronger USD, it may benefit from the “silver lining” accompanying lower oil prices. “It is still a tricky environment for Asian currencies ahead of the meeting between Presidents Trump and Xi at the sidelines of the G20 summit on 30 November – 1 December,” the bank said….
