APB 8th China Wealth Awards opens for submissions

Asian Private Banker has officially opened submissions for the eighth China Wealth Awards (CWA) 2025, recognising excellence in serving China’s ultra and high net worth individuals, their families, and their businesses.

This year’s programme has been refreshed to reflect China’s fast-moving wealth management landscape, shaped by an AI-fuelled equity rally, a recovering IPO market, regulatory shifts, evolving client investment appetite, and greater emphasis on governance and succession planning.

A major update to the awards structure is the separation of categories into “domestic market” and “international market,” acknowledging both the onshore and offshore growth strategies of participating firms.

We also introduced a dedicated Greater Bay Area category, recognising the region as a hotspot for competition between mainland institutions and global players.

Submissions are open to:

  • Banks with onshore China wealth operations
  • Chinese banks with international private banking platforms
  • Non-bank wealth managers for whom Chinese ultra and high net worth individuals represent a core client base

Further details on categories and submission requirements can be found here.

The submission window runs from 15 December 2025 to 9 January 2026, with all materials to be sent to the Asian Private Banker judging panel at [email protected]

We wish all participants the best of luck in this year’s competition!
