Hong Kong’s undersecretary of financial services and treasury bureau (FSTB), Ceajer Ka-keung Chan, called the European Commission’s decision to include the city on its list of non-cooperative tax jurisdictions in mid-June as “unfounded and unfair.” According to Chan on his blog, the process that led to the formation of a 30-jurisdiction list did not meet the standards of global practices…
