This award recognises a private bank in Asia Pacific that represents the best that the industry has to offer. The winner will need to demonstrate for the year under consideration (i) a track record of identifying, meeting, and exceeding the needs of its clients across investments and services, (ii) business momentum and growth in line with strategic imperatives, and (iii) progress in preparing the business for the future.
All private banks with a presence in Asia Pacific are eligible to enter, although the Judging Panel will look favourably on those submissions that demonstrate breadth and depth across multiple markets in North Asia and/or South Asia. Applications should account for a bank’s overall presence in the Asia-Pacific region, and cannot be made on a single market basis.
Applicants will be assessed across five criteria where the emphasis is on YoY progress in: (i) Client Assets, (ii) Business Strategy & Performance, (iii) Platform & Offering, (iv) Human Capital, and (v) Client Experience.
Please note: A separate submission is required for this category, even if your bank has pitched for other categories. However, the Judging Panel will factor in all submissions attributable to a single bank when deciding this award so as to minimise overlap. Also, those private banks that had AUM derived from their Asia business of US$50 billion or less during the period under consideration for the Awards for Distinction should apply for the separate ‘Best Private Bank – Boutique’ categories.
Please refer to the Whole of Business and Market Segment Awards submission sheet for full submission guidance. Submissions must include a completed submission sheet.
