What was behind the judges’ decision?

  • During the period under consideration, SCB Julius Baer defied the underlying market volatility by demonstrating sustained positive business momentum across key metrics, including net new clients, AUM and revenue growth
  • SCB Julius Baer has placed discretionary portfolio management at the core of its offering. It was the first bank to offer clients in Thailand access to international discretionary mandates, and in 2022 its penetration rate of DPM solutions was extremely high by both local and international standards
  • SCB Julius Baer proved to the judging panel its ability to innovate on the products side in ways that its peers did not match. For example, the use of illiquid land assets as collateral for margin loans to invest in offshore solutions such as structured products, mutual funds and private credit
