The Taiwan institutions Bank SinoPac, Hua Nan Investment Trust, Cosmos Bank, Entie Commercial Bank, and Taichung Bank have filed a suit against HSBC Bank USA in the Superior Court of California, for HSBC’s alleged role in a fraud perpetrated against the Taiwan banks and high net worth investors.
