In 2023 alone, the fund manager engaged with more than 300 companies – many of them in Asia – on ESG-related matters while voting on close to 2,000 AGMs.

Since launching its first low-carbon ETF in 2008, the firm has grown its business for passive strategies tied with Paris Agreement-aligned and climate transition benchmarks to almost EUR 16 billion in AUM as of the end of 2023. BNP Paribas Asset Management has also begun developing its private markets business focused on themes like sustainable forestry, agriculture, and natural ecosystems.
