HSBC Private Banking’s Singapore and Malaysia market head, Chow Shang Wei, has resigned, Asian Private Banker can reveal. Chow had overseen the private bank’s domestic Singapore business since late-2016 when he joined HSBC from UBS. The Malaysia market was added to his responsibilities following a rejig of key ASEAN roles in 2019. A spokesperson for the bank confirmed Chow’s resignation….
