November Regulatory Round-up: SFAT fines HSBC; Singapore FinTech festival; Paradise Papers leak

November kicked off with the so-called Paradise Papers leak, where more than half-a-million of data records from a Singapore-based trust service company, Asiaciti, were released into the public domain exposing hidden wealth of individuals and corporations. The Singapore regulator responded accordingly, saying that it will “take action” if any breaches are found. Thus far, however, no disciplinary action has been taken…
