APB celebrates winners of Asset Management Awards for Excellence 2026 at largest-ever ceremony

J.P. Morgan Asset Management took home the House of the Year – Overall award.

Asian Private Banker was honoured to celebrate the winners of the 13th annual Asset Management Awards for Excellence at a gala luncheon – the largest one so far – in Hong Kong on Thursday, where the region’s standout providers of asset management strategies to the private banking sector were recognised.

Over 180 representatives from the asset management industry, as well as key fund selectors, attended the ceremony at Hong Kong’s Island Shangri-la Hotel, where more than 25 fund providers took the stage to receive awards recognising the performance of their strategies across equities, fixed income, and alternatives. 

Among the big winners were global asset managers J.P. Morgan Asset Management, which pocketed hotly contested prizes including the highly coveted House of the Year – Overall; Best Fund Provider – US Equity; and Best Fund Provider – Equity ETF.

Other noteworthy award recipients include L&G’s Matthew Rees, who won Portfolio Manager of the Year, and Blackstone, which won Distribution Partner of the Year for Ed Huang, and House of the Year – Alternatives. BNP Paribas Asset Management won House of the Year – ESG for the second time in a row, and StepStone was awarded Rising Asset Manager of the Year.
