In this talk, we look at how banks are enhancing their ability to execute, and discuss operational and structural changes, including the deployment of technologies and the introduction of new teams and processes, to better harness the full capabilities of the bank and improve end-client delivery and business productivity.
About the speakers
Managing Director, Head of Private Banking South Asia and Singapore CEO, Credit Suisse
Benjamin Cavalli is a Managing Director, and was appointed to the role of Head of Private Banking South Asia in August 2018, based in Singapore. In addition, he took on the role of Singapore Chief Executive Officer from January 2017.
In his senior leadership role, Mr. Cavalli leads the Private Banking business in South Asia. He also focuses on collaboration opportunities within Credit Suisse to capitalize on the synergies and business opportunities in the region, drive profitable business growth and advance market share.
In his role as Singapore CEO, Mr. Cavalli works closely with the business heads in Singapore to support the bank’s business and client strategy. He also works with the Corporate Functions to ensure that the requisite governance and control framework is in place for the bank’s business in Singapore.
He has over 20 years’ experience in both Investment Banking and Wealth Management across Switzerland and Asia, 14 of which were focused on the Singapore market and in senior management capacity. Mr. Cavalli is accredited under Financial Industry Certified Professionals (FICP) by the Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) in Singapore.
Chief Executive, Morgan Stanley Bank Asia Limited
Vincent Chui is Managing Director and Head of Asia Wealth Management of Morgan Stanley. He is also the Chief Executive of Morgan Stanley Bank Asia Limited. Prior to taking up his private banking management role, he headed the Firm’s institutional equity distribution business in Asia.
Vincent started his career with the Administrative Service of the Hong Kong Government. He currently serves on the Deposit-taking Companies Advisory Committee and the Financial Infrastructure and Market Development Sub-Committee of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority. He is also a member of Process Review Panel for the Securities and Futures Commission.
Vincent holds an MBA jointly conferred by Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He also holds a BBA (Hons) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and did postgraduate work on public administration at the University of Oxford.

Sebastian Enberg is the Editor of Asian Private Banker. His background is in international politics, and Chinese foreign policy and security.
Sebastian graduated from Victoria University of Wellington with a Master of Strategic Studies majoring in Strategic Intelligence, and more recently, from the City University of Hong Kong with a Master of Arts. In 2012, Sebastian was awarded the university’s Top Scholar Prize for his cohort.
