Jenn-Hui Tan
Global Head of Stewardship & Sustainable Investing, Fidelity International

Jenn-Hui Tan is Global Head of Stewardship & Sustainable Investing for Fidelity International.

Jenn is responsible for providing external and internal leadership for Fidelity’s sustainable investing activities, including the strategy and policies on engagement, voting and ESG integration.

Jenn joined Fidelity International in 2007 from Norton Rose Fulbright, where he was a corporate finance lawyer advising on capital market and M&A transactions. He holds an LLB Law degree from the University of Durham.

Mario Knoepfel
Head Sustainable Investing Advisory, Asia-Pacific, UBS Global Wealth Management

Mario is an investment specialist, heading Sustainable Investing Advisory for Asia-Pacific since 2015.

In his role, Mario advises private wealth clients and family offices on sustainability aspects, helping them to incorporate personal values in investment portfolios across asset classes, investing with social and environmental impact through innovative public and private markets solutions and driving education and awareness efforts in the region. He leads UBS’s efforts to mainstreaming sustainable investing among private investors in Asia.

Working for UBS Wealth Management since 2001, Mario moved to Hong Kong in early 2013 to establish the Hong Kong presence of the UBS Optimus Foundation, a professional grant-making foundation that helps UBS clients in funding and managing projects benefitting underprivileged children around the world.

Prior, he worked for UBS Wealth Management in different positions in Zurich and Moscow with a strong focus on advising the bank’s ultra-high-net-worth clients and developing this client segment strategically.

Mario is a member of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority’s working group on Green and Sustainable Banking. Mario holds a bachelor degree in Business Administration with a Major in Banking and Finance from Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland.

Ned Salter
Head of Equities – Global Research and Asia ex Japan Investment, Fidelity International

Ned joined Fidelity in 2014 as a Director of Research, after nearly 14 years in the equity investment business.

In his original role as a Director of Research (DOR), Ned was responsible for managing a subset of the global equity research team and driving global research projects across sectors and asset classes. Ned was also responsible for intern, summer intern and undergraduate recruitment.

In 2016, Ned was promoted to Head of Research, Europe. In that capacity, Ned was responsible for all equity research activities based in Europe, managing analysts and the DOR team. In August 2018, Ned’s remit was further expanded to become Head of Equities, managing the Global Income PM team, the Sector PM team and leading the firm’s Thematic Investing initiatives. Most recently, Ned has taken on responsibility for global equity research, leveraging the strong leadership team running equity research globally. In addition, he manages the investment teams across Asia Pacific ex. Japan. Ned is also member of SIOC, the Sustainable Investing Operating Committee, and is an executive sponsor of the Fidelity ESG Rating Program.

Prior to joining Fidelity, Ned had been with Putnam Investments, whom he joined in 2001, as an equity analyst covering the global automotive & capital goods industries. Since 2009, he also co-managed the Putnam Global Industrials Fund. Throughout his career at Putnam, Ned managed analysts and associates on a global basis – having been based in Boston, London and Singapore.

Ned has an AB in Economics from Kenyon College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
