Having spent almost three decades in the banking industry across investment banking and wealth management, Cheah Le Sa’s unique blend of financial expertise and senior client coverage experience makes her a member of the Singapore Powerlist.

When she is at work, Cheah focuses on scaling the bank’s business franchise growth while sharpening the trusted adviser client proposition and cultivating talent. Cheah is a strong believer in fostering enduring client partnerships across multiple generations, which requires trust and a deep understanding of clients’ evolving needs and aspirations.

Outside of work, Cheah enjoys learning Chinese idioms as she appreciates the cultural richness in the Chinese language. She is fluent in English and Malay, with conversational command of Mandarin and Chinese dialects.

With a deep understanding of market trends, capital raising solutions and extensive banking experience, Cheah delivers wealth solutions and strategic outcomes to ultra and high net worth clients while integrating business ownership, asset allocation strategies and legacy planning into her advisory approach.

Before leading the Singapore private banking team in 2022, Cheah was head of Singapore equity capital markets, where she honed her expertise in advising clients on equity capital market offerings, mergers and acquisitions, as well as corporate advisory and deal structuring focused on shareholder value creation across ASEAN markets.

Cheah holds a Bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Nanyang Technological University and is a chartered financial analyst.
